While we’re packing lunches, setting up appointments and taking the kids to school, the lives of other children have come to a standstill. Crises and conflicts are robbing children of things they should never have to do without. A safe place to sleep. A warm meal. The first day of school. A moment of play.

All children have rights

These universal and inalienable rights apply to all children, independent of origin, gender, religion or nationality. In areas of crisis and conflict, these rights are often violated and ignored. Children lose their families, are forced to flee, go into hiding and experience violence that will stay in their memories. They often lack basic necessities like enough food, clean water or a roof over their head.

Millions of children in countries like Ukraine, Syria, Yemen and the Gaza Strip have lost everything.

Save the Children is there working where children are most at risk – and need help the most. Your donation helps children in extreme situations get the things they have the right to have: security, care, education and the chance to simply be children.

How Your Donation Helps

60 Swiss francs

for example, provides eight weeks of therapeutic food for one malnourished child.

100 Swiss francs

for example, provides eight children with access to a safe, child-friendly space for two weeks.

150 Swiss francs

for example, helps nine children make up for lost time at school after a disaster.

Your donation will be used for all of our activities and deployed where disadvantaged children need it the most.
